EROS INterACTIVE
EROS INterACTIVE

EROS INterACTive, produced by JoAnn Gillerman and Rob Terry, is an electronic fully interactive register and installation designed to provocatively and interactively solicit comments from viewers. Encouraged by soft whisperings and seductive images, one may enter their personal responses and comments on eroticism and interactivity. Through real time voice and camera inputs, viewers add their voice to a continually growing collection of stored comments. At any time one may choose to listen to the responses of those previously recorded, as well as retrieve their own. It first appeared in an exhibition of interactive art at Seybold 93, Moscone Center, San Francisco, CA, where it recorded and stored 250 comments. It has since been shown at: the "Be In" (Fashion Design Center, San Francisco, CA - an event coinciding with Mac World '94) where another 100 comments were collected, at CSU, Chico, CA - MultiMedia Faculty Seminar, and at CSU, Humboldt Summer Arts '94 where it continued to collect comments. EROS INterACTive uses the Silicon Graphics INDY.
